About Us

Kim's Calendars is a family-owned business that was started at Kim's kitchen table, and in her husband's woodworking shop, 28 years ago.

Kim started by stenciling her calendars and selling them at fundraisers and craft shows. She made her own calendar insert from scratch too, using the computers & printers at her alma mater, Bowdoin College. As her children grew up, so did the business, and eventually Kim moved the operations out of her home. However, she still prefers to do the stenciling at her kitchen table, in the morning, with a cup of coffee and a view into the pine forest that surrounds her island home.

She now sells thousands of calendar refills each year to her devoted customers, who often write and tell her they can't imagine organizing their lives without their Kim's Calendar. Kim continues to sell holders too, branching out from stenciling into printed designs, including maps, monograms, and custom work. You can find her calendars and refills on-line on this website as well as Etsy, Amazon, and Ebay.

Although Kim has a significant "on-line presence," many customers order their refills the old-fashioned way: by phone or through the mail. Kim strives to make ordering as easy and enjoyable as possible. She looks forward to the many calls from her customers and finds herself chatting about life long after the particulars of address and credit card number have been exchanged.
